This past week, we were lucky enough to have a couple little fellas running around our office. Bailey and Morgan are our new best friends, and I dare say that they miss us as much as we miss them. Apart from adding a fluffy component to our team, they both boast serious office skill sets: Morgan is a Photoshop wizard and Bailey is an accomplished nap taker.
Last month, Bebe au Lait ran a giveaway contest for a Bebe au Lait and Mustela Gift Basket in support of Breastfeeding Awareness Month. In addition, every order we shipped included a sample of Mustela’s nipple cream. Every customer who made a purchase through our website or signed up for our newsletter was automatically entered, and we are pleased to announce that we have a winner!

The February 10, 2009 deadline set by The Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) for the stringent testing of Lead Content and Phthalates in all Toy/Children’s Products has now been postponed for a year until February 10, 2010.
However, despite the revised deadline, we are pleased to announce that all products of the Bebe au Lait line (including Nursing Covers, Ultimate Hooded Towels, Double Bibs, Burp Cloths) have been tested and passed all of the requirements of the CPSIA without issue. We sincerely hope that this information gives you confidence in the safety of our products.
All Bebe au Lait products are routinely tested by certified laboratories even though there is no requirement to do so based on our product classifications. Product safety is important to us and to our retailers and as such we have invested in having each of our products re-tested per the appropriate methods to offer consumers and retailers alike added assurance that we do and always have produced safe, reliable products.

It’s true, celebrities sometimes get to shop at events where they are chaperoned and guaranteed privacy, and the rest of us have to shop the standard ways. However, they still choose which brands and products they like and when it comes to their children, they’re extra sensitive about what they’ll use and specific about why they like it. With a boomlet in Hollywood, we are hearing from a lot of celebrity moms lately! At the Boom Boom Room (the day before the Golden Globes, in LA) we introduced Hollywood to Bebe au Lait’s new, exclusive patterns and all of the benefits of our innovative new Double Bibs and even had fun talking about parenting.
Once children are ready for solid foods, protecting their clothes–during snacking, meals and in the washing machine–means finding a sizable Bib without scratchy closures. Most of the celebrities I met had a Bebe au Lait or Hooter Hiders cover IN their diaper bag and were eagerly anticipating our entry into the next stage of their parenting lives. The Double Bib and All-Purpose burp cloths were adored for their simple, chic designs and beautiful style. More than a few celebrities even commented about our high-end cottons that could withstand a lot of use, travel and washing rendering them right for an eco-minded lifestyle where quality and craftsmanship are more highly valued than disposable, poorly crafted versions of something similar.

Due with her twin boys at the end of March, Brooke was perusing baby products at the celebrity suite and she chose a Newport nursing cover, Mint Chocolate Double Bib and matching burp cloths. Margo in Bebe au Lait
We had quite an ensemble gathered just a week ago for our third and final photo shoot of 2008. About seven little ones clamoring around with their mommies in tow greatly outnumbered our professional models, especially whilst shooting at our first location in the morning.
Throughout the day we captured many beautiful photos to represent Bebe au Lait and our new products. Our Double Bibs are scheduled to arrive very very soon and we can hardly contain ourselves with excitement!
